As the product graphic designer for this groundbreaking set—the very first LEGO product celebrating LGBTQ+ representation—I was deeply involved not only in the design but also in helping to pitch and champion the idea internally, making this meaningful collaboration with Netflix’s Queer Eye a reality.
My design work involved a thorough research of the show and studying each member of the Fab 5 in detail to translate this information into the LEGO Minifigures and all the set’s decorated elements, allowing me to capture the unique personality traits, signature styles, and subtle easter eggs that fans would instantly recognise.
